Frequently Asked Questions

How much is your service?

Bartenders are $45/hour & all other staff is $40/hour. We charge for 1 hour of setup & half an hour of breakdown. Weddings and other large events require 2 hours of setup & 1 hour of breakdown, and we charge accordingly. We have a 5 hour minimum (which includes the setup & breakdown time); you don’t have to use the full 5 hours, but you would have to pay for it.

Events that require 3 or more bartenders require a Captain Bartender, which costs $65/hour. The same is true for events that require 3 or more servers, bussers, security personnel, or cooks. Each grouping of 3 would need a Captain of that particular skill set (i.e. Staffing 3 cooks would require the staffing of 1 Captain cook). Servers & bussers fall under the same category.

how much staff do I need?

For an average party of 4 hours, we recommend 1 bartender for every 50-75 guests. For parties that are under 4 hours, where you’d need to serve all your guests in a shorter span of time, we recommend hiring more bartenders, or at least a bar back.

For parties that have 125-175 guests, and require 2 or more bartenders, we recommend at least 1 bar back.

For parties with glassware or that require a higher level of service, we recommend at least 1 bar back.

For all other staff, it depends on the event and the job requirements.

will you let me know how much alcohol and ingredients i need to buy?

Yes! After you book with us, we can help you decide on what cocktails (if any) you’d want at your event. And then, we’ll send you a shopping list that’ll include alcohol, mixers, ice, cups, garnishes, etc. You can also ask about our Purchasing Program if you don’t feel like picking up all of the product yourself!

Our staff come with their own set of tools. The dress code is all black and formal.

what does your staff provide and how do they come dressed?

As the host, you’ll need to provide a trash can (preferably at least 23 G) & trash bags (30-50 G).

We can pick up ice if requested in advance. The charge for that would be $7 for every 20 lb. bag + $15 that goes to the bartender for their troubles.

To make sure the setup time is used efficiently, we recommend placing everything at or near the designated bar area prior to the arrival of the staff.
